Baked oats with collagen, without added flavour, are our favorite. It's so easy to make, and there are so many possibilities. Here, we've been inspired by juicy carrot cake with creamy frosting. When you bake the oats, they take on a cake-like consistency and become a delightful breakfast or snack.
This is what you need
2 bananas, mashed
4 dl oatmeal
4 tablespoons of Pure Marine Collagen
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 medium carrot, grated
1 dl walnuts, crushed
1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
5 dl optional milk. Adjust the amount to fill over the oats.
Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Find a heatproof dish, approximately 15x20 cm in size. Begin with the bananas. Mash them completely with a fork. Pour all the ingredients into the dish and mix well. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
Meanwhile, you can make the frosting. Mix all the ingredients together and place in the refrigerator until the cake is ready. When the cake is done, let it cool slightly before spreading the frosting on top. Store in the refrigerator and serve the next day. It should be eaten within 2-3 days when stored in the refrigerator.
